I set this Live Journal account up almost a year ago, and have yet to use it ... shame on me. I'm the author of Amaranth, coming 2009 from Bloomsbury USA, and other titles still preparing to meet the world. I'm represented by Trident Media Group. I graduated in January 2008 from Vermont College of the Fine Arts with an MFA in writing for children.

I'd love to get the inside scoop at some point to know what happened with the Simmons MFA program. It seems like people were/are quitting right and left last I heard, and with good reason as far as I can tell. What a shame!
